In 2000 he opened Kokopelli Café in Bangalow. This unique mix of restaurant and acoustic music venue was a forerunner of the Bangalow resurgence and it quickly became one of the shires most popular dining destinations. It’s relaxed and friendly style led the way for the new breed of Byron Shire café/restaurants. Kokopelli’s was also instrumental in discovering and presenting new and exciting local talent.
